Yes, it is a very peaceful residential neighborhood. Living here feels like truly living in Colombia, surrounded by neighbors, local shops, and everyday life. It is not an isolated tourist area, it is a real neighborhood with a lot of character.
Yes. The area is residential but within walking distance of supermarkets, restaurants, bars, shops and parks. There are also bus stops very close by to get around the city easily.
You have several options: Uber or InDriver (comfortable and affordable), several bus lines that pass along the street behind the house and go directly to the university, and the Transmetro. The Transmetro is Barranquilla's mass transit system, similar to a BRT: articulated buses running on dedicated lanes that connect the main points of the city quickly, safely and affordably.
There are plenty of options nearby: a gym, parks for running, tennis courts, padel courts, football pitches, and rumba and physical therapy classes. Barranquilla is a very active city and there is always something close by.
Just your towels and your clothes. Bed linen is already provided. If you want an extra set you can bring one from home or buy one here easily.
Yes, absolutely all rooms have air conditioning. We have a specialized technician who addresses any issue immediately.
Yes, the kitchen is available to all residents with no set schedule. We only ask that you respect the harmony of the house and leave everything clean and tidy. Each property has its own space: Casa Verde 1 has two kitchens (an auxiliary one and a large one), Casa Verde 2 has a very spacious kitchen separate from the rooms, and Gaviotas has a large kitchen with a beautiful view.
Yes, the fridge is shared. Casa Verde 1 has two fridges, Casa Verde 2 has one, and Gaviotas has one as well. Each resident has their own space and everyone is asked to respect each other's things.
Yes, there is a washing machine. For drying there is a laundry area with lines and racks. Barranquilla has so much sun that clothes dry very quickly outdoors, so we do not need a dryer.
Yes, you can have guests. If your guest is going to stay overnight, you must notify us in advance. Overnight guests have an additional cost calculated based on your room rate and agreed directly with the owner.
Yes, you can request the house rules manual. The main rule is that from 10:30 pm the atmosphere should be quiet so everyone can rest. In general, residents agree on how to live together and the atmosphere is very good.
You decide how to organize your space, there is enough room for everything. The only condition is to keep things tidy and respect the space and belongings of the other residents.
At any time. We will be waiting for you and welcoming you whenever you arrive.
We do not offer a pickup service directly, but we can give you the contact of trusted people who regularly pick up our guests at the airport. Just let us know and we will arrange it.
